RGS Professionals Group
The connected group brings together members of the Professional Reigatian Community which includes parents, former pupils and friends of RGS.
The primary purpose of RGS Professionals is to foster meaningful friendships and networks. The group supports the school by providing a pool of experienced professionals willing to give guidance and potential job contact opportunities to students.
The group also offers a forum for Reigatians to stay in touch with other friends and colleagues who are involved with RGS and to meet and network with new friends working in complementary business sectors.
The group is Chaired by Matt Lowe (RGS ’97) who recently took over the mantle from Mark Elsey (RGS ’78) and has this to say:
“Mark, huge congratulations on the establishment and growth of the RGS Professionals group. You leave it thriving and I am hugely proud, excited and privileged to take over the baton. I’m looking forward to standing on the shoulders of giants and having some fun along the way!”
As part of a rich and diverse programme, events in London have included: Barclays Canary Wharf Reception; Ernst & Young City Breakfast; an evening with Crossrail at the Royal Academy of Engineering and a networking event with Jellyfish at The Shard. We have also hosted two Inspiring Minds panel events at the School, aimed at our Sixth Form, to give them some insight into different potential career paths. We have exciting plans for this group over the next year so please keep in touch for news and updates.
